Registered Nurse - Float Pool
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
Location: Adventist Health System, Multiple Locations

Length: 52 Weeks, Must be willing to work at least 4 shifts per month
Hourly Pay: $65-$85

- Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team.
- Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.
- Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
- Two years' emergency department experience: Required
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS or or HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification: Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS or HS-PALS OR RQIPALS) certification: Required
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale: Required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
CT Tech - Float Pool
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Must do both CT & X-ray Siemens CT Exp

Essential Functions
Essential Functions
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
- Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
